What Is On My Glass?

on the side of my glass is something that looks like a sticky mark. But i try get it off from the outside and doesn't work. then i try inside with my gass cleaner and does nothing, what could it be and what can get rid of it?

I have something very similar on a second hand tank I was given. Gave the tank a good clean before I filled it and a couple of weeks later I noticed this strange mark.

Turned out it was a stray blob of silicone obviously left there during the manufacturing process. I know it's manufacturing as the tank belonged to my out-laws from new and they never repaired it.

if it is silicone it could happen when i use the glass cleaner it goes over the silicone.

dad said he would try a razor blade, and hopefully it wil work
