I think it may be a young Male Melanochromis Johanni which start off that orange colour but end up Electric Blue! i could be wrong but our Males looked like that b4 they turned!!
I think it's a male. Females are brighter without stripes and he has a spot on his anal fin. If it turns blue then its definitely a male.It's almost certainly a female or juvenile P.Saulosi
your fish is a B.B ornatus cichlid Pseudotropheus crabro also known as the chameleon cichlid originating from lake Malawi in Africa it reaches about 5 inches in length is semi aggressive and requires a tank at least 30 us gallons because of its quick bursts of speed. As to male or female I'm not sure but it is not a Johanni Cichlid sorry.
