What Is It

I was just checking my tank when I spotted this lil thing, as far as I was aware the only 2 snails I had were my 2 zebras Hum and Bug.

What is it? Could it be a Malaysian Trumpet Snail (I looked at the guide n it looks similar) and where did it come from? I change water every 2 weeks, there have been no new plants in over 6months and I've not seen anymore.

Does look like an Mts
It could've come in on some plants & they like to burrow in the substrate, so maybe you've just not seen it until now

Yeah I watched it for a few minutes n it dived under like a mini submarine, is it likely i have lots of them, I see they are nocturnal but I've not spotted any when the tank has no lights on

I have some in my tanks & hardly ever see them.
You have a sand substrate, so look for telltale trails in the morning, you'll probably have a few.
They reproduce quite slowly compared to other snails & are good for turning over the substrate
