What Is Attacking The Other Fish In My Tank?

Hello Twinkle and welcome to the forum. :hi:

After reading the posts, I'm going in a different direction. How long has the tank been set up? I really don't see fish in your tank that would be responsible for that many deaths although it certainly could be the CAE. If the deaths are definitely attributable to a fish, then I think that is the one. But I'm just wondering if some of the issues aren't related to ammonia and nitrite as opposed to another fish.

I agree, it could well be the CAE or even the RTBS but it would be wise to check that the tank has been properly cycled before we jump to conclusions.

can you tell us how long the tank has been running, how you prepapred i before adding fish and what your stats for pH, ammonia, nitrite and nitrate are?

From pictures I have been looking at it is definately a CAE. I have put it into another tank I have at the moment. So fingers crossed nothing else will be attacked.

I have had this tank for about a year, the CAE had been in it for a good few months. The newest additions to the tank were the sailfin mollies and a couple of male guppies. Ever since I put them in a couple weeks ago all hell let loose.

I wouldn't think it's an issue with toxins then. My guess would definiely be the CAE. Once they get some size on them, they get pretty nasty. Cories are a prime target for them too.
