What Is A Death Tank ?

read about it in another discussion group, is it a tank setup where one fish terorizes all the others ? or just a bunch of agressive non comunity fish ?

A death tank? I suspect you mean the tank of death? Such a term is used to describe a tank that is often FAR too small for the fish that are in it. Often used to refer to goldfish bowls, betta vases and tiny cups, ect.

Wow, some pretty disturbing videos. I was expecting live feeding videos, which don't bother me too much, but I know a lot of people don't like. But some of the stuff that came up was outright disturbing - mostly big cichlids and piranhas packed into undersized tanks, the corpses of the "losers" often left in to be eaten. Found one that was apparently round 8 in a series of videos where a kissing gourami missing an eye and most of his fins was "sad" because its "tag team mate" had been killed by a convict.

Couldn't agree more. Ar**holes with nothing better to do in their lives, other than to inflict pain and suffering on innocent animals. As a large cichlid keeper, it really p***es me off, the damage they are doing to our hobby.

Bloody hell - this thread has really disturbed me. Humans never fail to surprise me on how low and nasty they can get! Youtube should be able to trace them and prosecute!

I always report any nasty ones by ' flagging' them but they never seems to get removed. I see this week a guy from abroad is still posting dog fighting videos again on there despite me flagging them til im all flagged out!
