You're right it's not a dragonfly. But I think we've got differant bugs if you're doesn't have scary mandables. Look forward to finding out what you've got there.

yesh. Those things are all over the farm (work vacation/summer.)

They suck the blood of... lazier... animals. Such as cows. Something that moves constantly it won't go for... Wait... We're all sitting at computers.... THE DANGER!!!

but yes, his colours are quite exquisite compared to the large ones heres. Probably cause he was raised in a controled enviornment. Ours are all a nasty browish/blackish. But yeah... you did kinda release a super misquito in that sense...

No need to fear, every site I read about them last night clearly states they don't take blood meals from any animal, even us lazy slaves to the internet

About half an inch in body length.... doesn't sound like much, but it's HUGE for a mosquito!!
