What about an empty wardrobe.....I'm sure being a teenager you're clothes are probably on the floor anyway

You could pop the spawning tank in the bottom with a heater and then use the shelving above to put reptile heat mats and your jars onto.

She eats me anyway when i leave a cup or something somewhere.

Lol...good for her!!!! My son was the messy teenager ever, but he's just got his first flat and it's spotless.....so the nagging paid off in the end.

I might have to use the loft but have more smaller tanks rather than some big tanks...

Can make as much mess as I want there, Its my own space, even though I last went up there about a year ago.

I'm sure you'd be able to find a tank to fit through the gap....it just might take a little longer to find the right one.

Then when you do water changes get some extra long syphon tubing and put the bucket at the bottom of the steps. Then Mum can suck to get it going while you're in the loft with the other end

More like I can do something fun and get myself a hobby whilst she watches coronation street.

Have a look around at the clearseal tanks. They make some of those quite narrow and they're much cheaper than normal tanks because they don't have all the built in lighting and stuff.
