What Fishes You Would Never Have?

i dont like any fish thats silver/grey or orange or black, i just dont like plain and one coloured looking fish, a mixture of these colours is ok though, fussy arnt i

Angels just look plain evil to me, like given the chance they'd murder you in your sleep. It's that look in their eyes. Actually shuddering!

My sister says the same about my dwarf gourami. I love him, but you can be sat there next to the tank looking for him, then all of a sudden he appears from nowhere and he's right in your face. Skills of a ninja.

That's what I loved about mine. Closest I've ever come to considering a fish had a personality, he was such a character, eyeballing us if we got too close. Funny little things.

I never thought I'd like one-coloured fish either, until I saw the blood-red swordtails... Even since I got Bee, I've been keeping an eye on her the most even though my swordtail male is a rainbow of colours (metallic green-yellow-blue + black between the scales + red fins).

DOWN WITH KUHLI HATERS!

Crossfire will set her Kuhli Cavalry on ANYONE who dislikes Kuhli loaches :shifty:

I can live with that! I'll just bat them away, the creepy looking things :p

Now now, calm down, go look at your creepy eel worms and relax ;)

Anything that's been dyed. I happen to have two skirt tetras, one pink and one blue, that I rescued. I'd love to find a new home for them.

Pirhanas. I mean, why?

Chinese algae eaters (tetra eaters, guppy eaters, anything-that-moves eaters).

Goldfish.

Dwarf gouramis. Don't get me wrong ... I think they're wonderful, beautiful, interactive fish, while they're healthy. It just destroyed me to watch all mine die a slow and apparently agonizing death.

Common pleco. World's biggest poo factory.

Angels.

Bettas.

Cichlids.

Anything that gets to be more than about 3 inches.

Mollies.

Enough of the kuhli war already!

Just agree to differ!

I couldn't take the big long strings of poo mine was producing, especially on white sand. I was in the tank 2-3 times a day with my turkey baster trying to lessen it, but just couldn't keep up. Yech. Too bad, because I really liked the fish.
