What Fish???

Hi,

I was just wondering what fish would be compatible with a red tailed shark and a tiger barb???

Im just curious to see what possibilities I have.......please list as many fish as you know that would be compatible as i would like to know my options.

I would keep at least 6

you could mot likely keep plecos, rams, tetras

be prepared for an agressive fish tank though...

How big is the tank anyway?

actually RTS arent aggressive at all. Not even nippy. Mine likes to swim around in my fake plants a lot. The barbs on the other hand are really nippy so if u want any long finned fish u can really have barbs.

I used to say that about my RTS till he grew and became an absolute bully I ended up having to give him away as he just couldn't be trusted with anything smaller than him.

I agree. Tiger barbs are nippy, and mischievious, so a group of 5 or 6 is a must. A lone tiger barb is a very bored tiger barb and that spells trouble for everyone else in the tank.

This may be the limit to your stocking capacity anyway - I dont know your tank size. I have both green and standard stripey tiger barbs, 5 of each, and they have never given me any trouble but boy dont they squabble and fight amongst themselves!! All harmless playground stuff luckily.

my RTS can't be trusted with anything smaller or bigger(!) than him that is BLACK!!!!

he chases any fish that is black in colour and leaves the rest alone!!!!
