WHAT FISH

I have finished the new DIY ply wood tank and after the cycle i wanted to add a pair of Small Angle fish so i can watch them grow, what other fish should i add with the the tanks is 1.2 m by 40 cm by 40 cm with a sump in the sump is filter wool 2x sheets of filter sponge and bio balls.I like the smaller fish because i like to see them swim in schools, there is heaps of hiding spots for them but the angles are aggerssive fish arn't they so what do you all reckon i should add with the angels ?

yeah ang els can be aggressive.what i would probably buy some kind of Ram. Like a pair of Blue rams. there not really a schooling fish but there very beautiful and peaceful.t i would still go with the rams to be safe cause the angels might kill them.

oops i ment to say that the angels might kill the silver hatchets but i forgot to talk about the hatchets sorry about that

What about some rams my lfs have some wild caught ones coming in soon do you all think they will be ok or to aggressive aslo will guppies be ok in there or will they get attacked

yeah you should buy a pair of rams.they won't be aggressive. but guppies might be allrite for a bit,but the would most likely get killed when the angels grow bigger. But another fish i was thinking about was a clown loach. there peaceful and they school. and they would help clean your tank so you should think about them too.

Blue Acaras
couple of cichlids that would get along with them, you could even go discus if you want

i wouldn't go with them blue acara maybe if she was small and from personal experiences there fairly peaceful. But jewls are very aggressive. and they would probably kill the other more docile fish in there when they grew up.
