Hi I have a large tank which is 3.6ft by3.6ft by3.6ft and at the moment I have

3 angelfish adult
6 silver sharks about 4 inch
6 clown loaches about 4 inch
1 plec about 5 inch

what else would be a nice fish to add to this collection??

Running 2 tetra tec 1200 filter

That tank holds some volume (~1321l) but its squat dimensions are not suitable for Clown Loaches or Bala Sharks, which are active fish and grow in excess of 30cm. A similar volume 12x2x2 (~1359l) would be far more suitable for them. These two species are going to need an upgrade or rehoming relatively soon, before they reach half adult size of ~6 inches.

What species is the plec?

You could do a great biotope or geotope centred around those relatively sedate South American fish, taking into account the predatory nature of Angelfish with anything upto the size of adult Neon Tetras (adult Cardinals are often used as a safe alternative).

In my honest opinion I don't think you should add any more fish. You have a school of clown loaches and they do get quite big. Approximately a foot for each clown. They are a true beauty but they get large. You also have a school of them... I'm not quite sure, but I THINK silver sharks are best in brackish when they are fully grown. I think, I'm not quite sure on that. :p careful about the specie of Pleco. :)

Are not a tropical species, they are temperate. Keeping them at tropical temps all year round will knock chunks of their lifespan, they would do very well to reach 5 years instead of 8.

Agreed; also 3.5 ft isn't really enough swimming room for them either, IMO.
