What Fish

i perfer a royal grama they are very peaceful dont swim much at all just likes to sit or float in and around the rock and just watches everything

royal grmamas are far from peacful, sixlines need a larger tank, what about a highfin goby? fish that swim alot aren treally suited for nanos

yea, simmful fish are usually the bigger ones...only small swimmers that I know of are clowns and Damsels, and their both relitively the same too. Their closely related species, usually called cousins. Yellow tail damsels are nice, hardy, more peaceful fish than other damsels. You could probebly have a pair of YTdamsels, and a Pair of clowns. You wont have to worry about clowns getting picked on by damsels cause they can usually defend themselves. My damsel is afraid of my female Perc...guess you could call her a....sorry cant say it here lol.

haha. thanks for thar. well when i go either today or tomorrow i will pic up 2 yellow tail damsels or a six line wrasse.
are you sure the yellow tail samsels will not harm my fish. i have been reaserching them and it says that they do not harm invertebrates.
thanks for the replies keep them comin

If you like the sixline I would def get one. It meets all your requirements. Mine is very entertaining and keeps to himself. as far as tank size goes I'm not sure on that part.I think it would be fine.

Ah, the YTD will pick on other fish for a while, but eventually, what goes around comes around. My firefish, which is one of the most peacefull fish ever, was getting picked on my Damsel. Now, its the other way around lol. I guess my clown taught the Firefish how to defend its self.

I'm not entirely sure about six lines, never had em.

filmoholic, what fish is that in your avatar, its so awsome!

You guys are probably right my six line is in a 75g and he adventures all over the tank. And my avatar is a spotted sweetlips.

...which is a fish that can reach over 2', even in aquaria.

If I were you, I would get a scorpionfish or toadfish (in fact I did get the latter); they are one of the least active fish of all. They are highly predatory, but otherwise very docile, and the smaller species can be kept with all invertebrates barring small shrimp and any fish larger than their mouths.
