hi there got a 75 litre tank wiht 2 pearl gouramis, and wanted to know what else i could put in with them. i was thinking maybe a shoal of harlequin rasboras, what do you think or do you have any other suggestions
what substrate do you have? Id put some cory's in, a school of clown barbs would look nice, or maybe a shoal of black neons, its really depends on the dimensions too if its a tall think tank or a rectacle size as to what can be kept
The tank is slightly too small for the pearl gouramis, they should really have a minimum tank of 100L but you may get away with it if you keep the tank fairly lightly stocked.
Looking at the general stocking rule of 1" of adult fish per US gallon, the tank is 75L which is roughly 20 gal. Pearl gouramis grow to around 4" adult size so thats 8" of your 20" used up leaving about 12" to play with.
