Eels even though i probably wont since they arent even taking up much space in the sand
i need to get this problem over and done with
also my LFS's arent like Petsmart r anything so dont be saying bad comments if i cant get most of them rehomed

Well from information I read you got 2 predator fish in that tank with more timid fish that they will eat. The oscar and eel have got to be rehomed even if its to another tank it does not matter what space they take up it matters what they eat which is other fish. As far as not being able to rehome the oscar post it on here to give it away or sell it if you can't find a LFS that will take it which I find hard to believe I know the 2 by me will take any fish if they need rehomed rather than have them in a tank that isn't suited for them. The bala sharks can get to 13" each and need plenty of space to roam so with those 2 you're going to be overstocked. Then you have the clown loaches granted they grow slow but they get up to 12" in length. Your mollies have got to get the hell out of that tank if you're keeping those other fish the acara's will end up eating them when they get bigger if the oscar doesn't first. Mollies are not meant to be in a tank with predatory fish like you have. Depending on the type of Pleco you have that is going to keep growing quite large. Honestly you have a mess of a stock in your tank you really need to read up on what fish you put in a tank before you do it just because they look cool and you want them. It does you nor the fish any good to just throw a bunch of fish that don't belong together in a tank because you wanted them. I would honestly rehome all of them and start over with your stocking list or get some new tanks to move the fish that actually belong together in. But hey you do what you want but you're asking for trouble with that stock of fish you have in that tank now.

lose all stock mate every last one rehome the lot then when you have just a tank with water ask for advice on HERE for what you should stock

I second that you need a restart and do it the right way this time.

Agree with the three above. However everyone, it does seem he's taken peoples advice. All be it taking longer than everyone wanted.
So just remember we're back to being constructive now! :)

Ways to rehome:
Post up notices in your local fish shops with the fish to be rehomed
Post on here in the classified --> livestock section
Ring around all the fish shops in your area asking them if they'll take ANY of the fish you need to rehome.
I wouldn't advise asking for money for the fish, take into account their health, they need rehoming ASAP. If you try charging money then it'll take much longer.

Also, even if you don't rehome all your fish, which I really really really think you should. The eels HAVE to go. It's not about the space they take up, it's about the type of fish they are. With the size tank you have you've got alot of stocking options open to you. If you keep the eels you'll have to get rid of almost all the other fish as they will be eaten/killed if you dont.

If you do rehome the eels (Which you should) you could make a lovely, peacful, interesting community tank. When you do things the right way you'll see such a huge difference in your fish I promise!

Everything apart from the Mollies, danios and corydoras, then you can concentrate of making a nice community tank of fish. If that doesnt appeal, then like everyone else has suggested, re-home ALL of them and start from scratch, asking BEFORE buying for compatiblity and size issues.

that's what were doing, i have tried a number of time's to help, i will continue to help as after all it's all for the fish and making people enjoy this hobby and keep the fish in tip top condition, glad you have taken this on board mate :good:
We know how fustrating it is to start out with fish that turn evil or to big only to find the shop's do not wan't to know, even though they sold you the fish in the first place,

I'd also be tempted to say rehome the lot and then research so you get fish that 1) suit your tank, 2) you really like and 3) you will have fun keeping trouble free.

If you really want to keep some then keep ONLY the small fish.

If you have problems rehoming any of the fish at your LFS, it may be worth putting ads on places like www.aquarist-classifieds.co.uk, gumtree, or on here.

1 Pleco, about 7''
1 Black Ghost Knife, baby juvi, about 2''
2 Bala Sharks, juvi's, about 3.5''
Oscar, juvi, about 4''
theres a notice board at my lfs's which i always look at will this be of much use for rehoming the Oscar

*rehome them now*

and get an upgrade for these!!

1 Clown Loach, about 4.5''
1 Half Barred Eel, juvi, 3''
1 Peacock Eel, juvi, 4.5''
what other fish will be ok for these in a 450L

I would like to get:

X4 Hujeta Gars
X1 Fire Eel
X1 BGK
X1 Peacock Eel
X1 Half Barred Eel
X2 Freshwater Datnoids
X20-50 feeder Fish (I know its cruel & expensive but if i go for these fish chances are they'll need to eat them I'm not cruel to animals and deffo not to fish but thats the way the food chain works and always will work!)
X3 Serverums
X1 Archer Fish
X1 Armoured Bichir

PS im only going by the looks of the fish in the list so dont think im crazy just do a few little ajustments to it
it's the best idea i could come up with!

Those fish will NEVER live together. Quite apart from you would need about a swimming pool size tank to house them.... Get real!

(p.s. - you also need to rehome the clown loach - it will get stunted in your tank. Get the bigger tank FIRST - then cycle and stock it appropriately.)
