I wouldn't even consider it no matter how big they were! Totally incompatible, sorry :(

the only people on this convo you wanna listen to are "stinkerbell" and "fatheadminnow" as they now what they are talking about.
these shrimps are small...and make a very easy meal for such fish as a hungry oscar.
oscars are pretty aggresive when large.
and can usually only be homed with larger tank mates.
and shrimp aint one of them im affraid.
the shark can also become quite aggresive when bigger, but i doubt it will want to eat the shrimp neitha will your plecy.
the main worry in your tank with the shrimp is your oscar.

its upto you BUT i would'nt do it if i wer you.
the choice is yours.

What exactly do you mean by this? Seeing how I'm the only other person who has responded to this thread it looks like your talking about me! I was asking about the tank size because he has an oscar not for the fact if its big that the shrimp will have a chance. Theres no maybe the shrimp will survive its just a matter of time and they will be ate. They may be ok for awhile if your oscar is really small but once he gets just a little bigger there done for. If hes adult then there no chance for them whats so ever. The only way they would be able to survive for a longer period of time would either be if your tank is heavly planted or you have a ton of hiding spots. Even then its just a matter of time.
