What Fish Breed Well In Hard Water

i want to breed somthing new the water around my area is very hard and i was just wondering if any thing breeds well in hard water

A lot of cichlids breed well in hard water. Convicts always breed easily and have done well when we have had hard water. Crayfish breed very well in hard water. Guppies of course seem to breed in anything, at least for me.

the tank is only 19 gals, ive have breed guppies, soardtails, platties and mollies before and was hoping to try somthing new

The tank is too small for your standard Africans (like Mbuna)- but you could do shelldwellers, like Neolamprologus multifasciatus.

I agree with shelldwellers. They do best in hard, alkaline water, are interesting and breed readily.
