What Filter?

Hi,

I'm about to get a 48x18x12 tank and wondered what sort of external filter I'd need for it, I've currently got a fluval 104 on a smaller which I was going to move up, but would I need to add another? If so, any recommendations?

Also, if I scrapped the 104 completely, what filter would you recommend instead?

I've just got a 104 to compliment my UGF and I love it - my water is looking cleaner than ever!

However, you'll need a 204 or 304 for the bigger tank?

My 48x15x12 had two Ehiem 2011's on it, both with an extra canister of ceramic pipes. I always tend to use two smaller units rather than one big, it gives me redundency in case of failure, and I can clean one knowing the other can take up any slack if the bacterial colonies take a bit of a hit.
