What External?

Which of the Eheim ecco pro 300, fluval 306 and the Tetra ex 700 is the quietest as it will be in my room so needs to be almost silent?
If anyone has one of the externals in their room please comment or even if you've used any of the above before as i need as much info as possible.

I have two fluval 405's. They are under the tank in my lounge. I would buy them again if one broke down. One is 18 months old other one?? must be at least 10 years old, may be more.

ex700 is right next to my bed, pillow touches the tank. Never hear it, hear the bubble popping in my diy co2 ALOT more

I have an eheim 2217 and I can't tell it's running by sound. Initially bubbles had to settle but even then, quiet.

I've just upgraded to a eheim 2217, and wish that i bought it years ago.

Had a fluval 405 before i upgraded, and the eheim is so so so much better - alot quieter and with much better filtration.

Go eheim, you wont regret it

I have a Fluval 305 and have been very happy with it.
Apparently the 306 is better (quieter with a higher turnover rate).
