I think one of my cichlids laid eggs. Not sure which one, but for sure its eggs of one of my fish. But sadly there are 2, they looked like rocks, so I reached in and accidently smashed one. It would be great if the cockatoos are they ones that got it on, I'd be making some money. :D Any ideas? Can someone post a pic? Thanks.

I'm not sure how much eggs vary among different species of cichlids, but here are some angelfish eggs for some comparison.

Actually it sounds like otocinclus eggs, because from what I've heard they lay eggs in twos. Cichlids usually lay hundreds of eggs at a time :)

Really, that be good, I need a couple more otos. Its really not just 2 its like a bundle.

Still doesn't sound like cichlid eggs, most cichlids lay their eggs out evenly over a flat surface instead of bundling them into one spot :) Good luck with whatever the eggs are

The cockatoos will lay their eggs on the ceiling of a "cave" (whether the cave is a pot or a bunch of rocks). When my cockatoos lay eggs, I have to upturn any pots that are being guarded and look for the red eggs.
