Got myself a pair of kribs today. I'm 90% sure that I have a male and a female (never owned them before and these guys are not fully grown yet). They are currently sharing a 65 litre tank with a yellow panchax. Not ideal, but it is temporary. I have a 110 litre waiting to be set up for the three of them.
At the moment the tank is quite bare. I stole some plants from my other tanks to give them a bit of cover and they have a silly little hut ornament to hide in (they love it).
I know they need a heavily planted tank with loads of hiding places (caves, rocks, wood, etc) and I know they should ideally be in 100+ litres. They have fine gravel at the moment - do they need sand? Is that OK?
I'd love to see pictures of your krib tanks for some inspiration! Also, what are good tank mates? I'm thinking of putting them with rams and/or wild bettas (probably imbellis) in the future. Good/bad?
