I think it's only one pic per pet for a competition, oin other words, you have to pick the picture you think is most likely to win you votes etc. This way much more thought should go into it as well...

Agreed. Only seems logical.. if more than one pic of the same pet gets nominated, you choose the one you like best to submit.

Ok if that is the way you all want it. But if The contest isnt getting many nominations then I will change them back to the way they were. Is this fair enough for everyone???Puffer freak I sent you a copy of the pm that William sent me. I dont think he said anything about over top of everyone signature. I will send him another pm and ask him to post in here about the banners and signature thing. Thanks for everyones input and I will take every suggestion into consideration..

Seems fair enough to me, as long as everyone sticks to these rules, agrees that the rules are definitive and don't argue with them. Perhaps you should say something like:

By placing a picture of your pet in the nomination thread, you agree to stick by the rules and do not argue with them. By arguing with them you get an immediate disqualification from this month's competition and next month's.

How about a no plaguerism rule? Because by saying something like "I don't think you took that picture or you even know that pet" it does ruin that persons chances because it puts doubts into peoples minds. IDK, just trying to help!

The only thing I'd still like to know - can people enter more than 2 photos of the same pet in the same month for voting ? Because it happens fairly often that more than one pic of the same pet in the same month is nominated.

In my opinion though, there should only be one pic per pet per month to do the voting on

I would like for everyone to know that for the next few months they will be two people that is going to help me out with the contest. Puffer freak and Annastasia will be the ones that is going to help me make the polls and get the nominations together, I have started school and I wont be having as much time as I usually do. For the next couple of month. Also Puffer_freak has offered to make the banners for the winners each month which is a great deal of help already. I would like to thank them both for offering to help me. Its means a great deal to me. So the contest wont be behind like it was last spring. I dont want that to happen again. I also wanted eveyone to know that the pets they have entered will still be in the contest. They arent anyway to cheat in this contest without being caught.
