Hey,
I have a 35Litre fish tank
50 x 25 x 30cm
At the moment it holds; 2 dwarf aquatic frogs, 2 small catfish looking things (cant remember what theyre called) 3 guppies, a small angelfish and a appel snail.
There is a constant build up of algae; the gravel, the plants and the front of the tank is constantly green/brown with algae and im fed up of having to clean it. Why is it doing this? Any help appreciated!!

How long per day do you have your lights on? Is your tank in any direct sunlight? It could also be being caused by overstocking. You really need to get a picture of the 'catfish' so someone can ID them, plecos can be extrememly messy fish. You also shouldnt have the angel in a tank that small and the frogs will most likely need a different setup to your fish.

10 hours a day i have my light on.
No the tank isnt in sunlight.
The tank isnt overstocked, the 2 frogs and Corydora (found the name) are bottom feeders, the dwarf angelfish is small and witht he guppies stay to the middle and top of the tank. I was told i can have upto 15 fish in this tank but stopped where i am at the moment as fed up of the algae build up. Even when i only had the 3 guppies and the snail, the algae would constantly build up

Corys should be in groups of at least 5/6 not in pairs and will do better on sand rather than gravel. As far as I am aware there is no such thing as a dwarf angelfish and your tank is not big enough to keep angels.

10 hours seems like a long time to me, have you considered cutting this to 6/8? How much do you feed them / how often?

Check those "Dwarf Aquatic Frogs". This is a name often used to describe frogs when the pet store do not know what they are. Either African Dwarf Frogs or African Clawed Frogs. Very similar however the latter is one that grows large and will eat small fish.

Cories, like already mentioned, should be kept in 5 minimum as they are a shoaling fish.

"15 Fish" allowed in your tank? This is extremely vagues as you will need to consider types of fish and also the size of the fish you intend to put in here. For example you may get 15 harlequin rasboras in here but only 2 gouramis in the same set up due to size etc.

Lighting. No need to have them on for 6-8 hours a day, any more and your then asking algae to grow :good:

Over feeding - Try feeding your fish every other day, once a day (apart from the cories who will eat more at night so drop in algae wafers then)

Ive changed the gravel to sand today, fish are much better. I no longer have the angelfish as it kept attacking the frogs so its now in my mums tank. I will take the light hours down to 8 and hope for the best. I feed them once a day in the morning.
