Oo, that colour is awesome. Can't see his finnage very well though it looks quite long.

It's hard to capture his fins on my crappy camera phone, they are so irridescent at the ends, all pinky and lemon but very fair. I've called him Kai because when I looked up yellow in the Thai dictionary, Kai came up.
I spent 25 minutes looking at him, he was so unhappy, flaring obsessively at his reflection and the betta next to him and then hiding and curling round, it was heartbreaking.
There was a fabulous little SD above him who was pearly white and so chilled out and happy (like Jai is) and I wanted him too, but I felt really sorry for Kai. They had a superb selection - a beautiful scarlett coloured double tail, really bushy, I wanted him too

I know, in the end it came down to him not being happy at all in there, the SD seemed perky and happy, but the HM seemed so tense and upset. he's calmed down SO much since he's been here, the money doesn't matter anymore. Does that makes sense?

but seriously, he's very nice. Once he's settled in you should try to get some flaring pictures. Personally, I'd have gone for the DT, even if it wasn't a DTPK
