What Do You Prefer Tropical Freshwater Or Marine

I keep tropical at the moment because im a beginner and marine seems alot harder, tropical tanks can be amazing but I think marine is my favourite the fish and coral look stunning but until im alot more experianced Il stick to tropical

Tropical. I do love looking at marine fish though, but I don't have the money.

depends on the fish as i prefer my bettas to my blue damsels

but prefer my lion fishes to my pygmy cories

and my koi pond is a different thing all together

so could not decide

Do you mean what we own, or what we have in an ideal world if we had the space and the finances?

I have 2 tropical tanks, and am in the process of setting up another for Malawi cichlids.
But in an ideal world I would have a marine setup, or three!

Right now I am thoroughly enjoying my goodeids. They are not tropicals and unlike some comments in this thread about cooler water fish they are not giants that need huge tanks. They are subtropical and can often be kept in good health down to less than 50F, 10C. I guess they would be called freshwater by the odd classification system you are using.

I have just swapped over from marine back to tropical after 3 years & it was the most difficult & expensive thing i have ever done.
