Let me know! Any other ideas are welcomed! Just looking for a cool pal at my desk, for when im doing art work! Also trying to keep it somewhat easy to maintain....

Are there any alternatives to fiddler crabs that dont require salt/ brackish water?
Any other semi to full aquatic amphibian ideas?

I have an Electric Blue Cray, and he's so fun. I recommend sand bottoms. Since I have change to sand, hes been much more active, and dug himself a cave!

Yup planing on using sand no matter what! What size tank do you have for him?

Crayfish sound fun...if you go sand you can get a magnetic ledge for Turtles...they look cool.

is this for your archer tank?

if so, don't you use brackish water already, are is there a freshwater archer species?

what? no no my archerfish tank is my 65 gallon... this whole post is for my spare 10 gallon tank i had lying around....also my archer tank is not brackish, as the Toxotes microlepis species are a freshwater species...and stay smaller.

Try asking binge more about craws, as I got my electric blue from her!

Australia has some great freshwater crabs, don't know if any have made it into overseas markets though. Halthuisana sp. would be one family to look out for, most fresh water crabs are from tropical areas so Asian fish breeders probably have quite a few types.

Thanks MisssMarie and Baccus! What about marmokrebs? Are they somewhat peaceful with one another or will they likely fight and cannibalize?
