What do y’all think my dog is mixed with?

So my rescue, Yuki, is a Jindo mix. And for the longest time we’ve been scratching our head over what the heck she’s mixed with…

But now… just over a year after adopting her…. We think that one of her parents…. Is…. A weenie…

Her torso…. Just just keeps growing…

And her legggs

So itty bitty

She’s so snuggly and barks a lot, which is much more in like with dachshunds than Jindos….

Poor mama Jindo had to lower herself so far….

Our initial though was chihuahua… but her torso cannot be denied.

What do y’all think about my lil raw chicken?

Edit: she only weighs 20-23 pounds and she’s about 1 and a half years old

Those are definitely the most likely…

Cause she looks like a Jindo. But her second coat hasn’t grown in yet (her coat is growing longer though so it’s coming. Rip the shed issue we’ll have with two double coated dogs) and her leg to torso ratio is wack

They share a resemblance to akitas/huskies so I was close lol.
The Jindo definitely shares more of a resemblance to your dog.

I reckon you're spot on with the sausage dog!
The torso being a bit of a giveaway, for sure! lol. But the second main thing that jumped out to me was those paws!! and the hip/knee joint. That there's some digging dawg paws and legs! Check out some dachs legs and feet, and you'll see what I mean! I can see why you thought maybe chi too, mainly in the pic where she's curled up, she looks quite chi like there! But my guesses here would just be the Jindo and the dach. Both dogs are incredibly cute!! Are you planning to get a DNA test, so we'd find out for sure?


Side note - I LOVE the house decoration, and all the live plants inside and on the balcony! Really beautiful home! I'd be a disaster if I visited though, or copied the style in my own decor. I'd immediately spill either coffee or red wine everywhere. I rarely even drink at all, but if I have white clothing or decor, I will spill one of the two on it. I've learned my weaknesses.

A corgi mix would be be a fantastical divine middle finger to the face! Ahahaha! I would love that! My mom hates corgi’s for some reason, doesn’t find them cute in the least. But she was one of the family members that voted on Yuki when we were deciding who to apply for! AHAHAHAHAHA
