A darker more natural substrate will enhance your fishes colouration far better.

Looks good,but i agree with Minnnt,it would look fab with dark substrate and it show would off your electric blue cichlid loads

Ok and i was thinking about doing a rock formation to fill the whole tank like the ones in the right corner as it would bring more hiding spots and reduce aggression.right?

My fish are hiding in the picture. I just got the jack dempseys and electric blue and they never come out....im sorry its a bad picture.....there coming out little by little and i feed the gar small comet goldfish
