Please help i bought two micro crabs from maidnhead aquatics and i found one of them to be dead all of his legs and body were fine i have a clown loach and i also have two bronze corys. the wierd thing is i have two bamboo shrimp and one armoured shrimp and they are all fine and have been for months any help would be usefull.

micro crabs-isn't their max size 1 cm?

yeah thats why they call them micro crabs

my guess would be the clown, at 1cm it won't last long with anything bigger than itself though

i would say at that size they would not be safe with any fish

"Fish" that only grow up to 1cm should be realistically stocked alone.

+1 for the Clown killing them. If Clown Loaches can kill relatively large snails then they can certainly kill a 1cm crab

I see your tank is only 180L. Why not rehome the Clown Loach and get loads more Micro Crabs??

the clown loach is only about 4-5" but i also have 2 panda gara catfish. but woul like to keep them the clown loch will be moved when it gets to about 7-8"
