Welcome, first mate you will need to let us know tank size, how long its been set up?
Any tankmates already?
whats the water stats on the tank / filteration? this leads us to make an imformed choice to help you get a good healthy set up :good:

Hello I have had my tank set up for about 2 years now its only a 64lt tank at the moment but I was thinking about getting a bigger one, I have 2 yo yo loaches 1 rainbow fish, 1 male fighter, guppys, and cardinals I wasnt sure if the parrot fish would eat my other fish if so I would consider getting a separate tank for them just wasnt sure what you could keep with them
I also have a filter and a bubbler hope this helps

I did have 4 rainbow fish but the one have have got left bullied the others to death I kept buying more and he kept killing them so i have left it now and he seems very happy he likes hanging round with the fighter, what size tank would I need I was only thinking of 2 parrot fish ?

I had 3 parrot fish about 3 in.in a 75 gallon tank once with my 3 dinosaur birchirs and I had to get rid of it because it ate everything my birchirs were suppose to eat....my parrots did eat the minnows too!!I had to seperate them just to feed my birchirs. Also I bought a freshwater barracuda that was 4in. and they killed it!!!! But ive seen parrots that just eat flake food and stuff or like mine that eat anything you drop in the tank. So I dont know what to tell you......I think you'll be fine.I would upgrade your tank as well.

I think I will need to upgrade to a bigger one just wasnt sure how big was just going to get 2 parrots

Well parrots can get pretty big. I think a 55 gallon tank would be big enough
