Here we are sitting in front of our PCs using the internet. But where did you start?
I had a Spectrum first then an Amiga... :good:

acorn electron, ibm xt i was lucky it had a 10mb hdd, a few spectrums zx81,128+,xl with micro tapedrives, amiga A500,A600,A1200 with and 040 processor card and not forgeting the cd32 and many more inbetween

first propper windows pc was a commodore 386 16mhz with 8mb of ram and 1mb gfx card, dos 6.22 and windows for workgroups 3.11

This was my first computer. It was very old when I got it, but when you are seven (at the time) it was awesome.
Apple Classic

Since then, I never had an apple product again. Mainly because they had crappy games, and I didn't want to run emulators.

I don't remember the name of my first computer but it didn't have Windows. It was an old 286 DOS machine. It had a "huge" 40 meg hard drive with a 5-1/4" floppy, I believe 128k of memory and an RGB monitor. That was in 1988.

My parents were a bit slow getting into the computer age. We got our first when I was 15, it was and IBM aptiva, Pentium 150 mhz processor, 1.5 Gb hard drive, and 28 Mb RAM. Now my iPod would backup that computer 3 times over.

11 years later and I'm on to macintosh computers. I'm using a macbook 2.0 ghz core 2 duo with 2 Gb RAM. My wife is buying one in a week or so, hers will be a 2.16 GHz with 1 Gb RAM. We've got a PC but we're eager to junk it as soon as the new mac arrives.

Long time ago! An IBM portable that was fondly called a lug-able (weighted about 20#'s). It came with a nylon triple stitched carrying case. I believe it had a 10 meg hard drive and an 8086 processor. The monitor was built in and was about 5 inches square. Software was scarcer that hens teeth. But. it was wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Intel Pentium 1 200MMX (I think it's 200...er..or was it 220..hm..) 32 RAM and I think it had a 1.5GB HDD. Now it makes me laugh...1.5GB?

LOL>.. I still have it.. might even dig it out... worked about 10 years ago when I tried.

a commodore PET personal. 7167 BYTES of memory and a cassette drive.

Commodore VIC 20 followed by a Commodore 64 (I still have them both in the loft  ) and at school and college I was mainly using BBC model B's :hyper:

A lot of my friends went from the Amiga's to Apple's for the graphic programmes.
