What Colour Are Eggs?

My glowlights have been zipping around the tank for a day or so appearing very active,seems to be playing chase and then hiding up in the plants,now has i was feeding them earlier i noticed tiny blackish dots on top of the sand,now i know its not food,could it possibly be tetra eggs??

The sparkling gouramis seem to be eating them...
