Just remember to look for the other things too when judging a female.. sharp corners, full fan shaped dorsal (not a skinny one), and that the anal fin is not overly long or triangular. Allll of those factors will affect your spawn.

So, he gave me two options for the black orchid male crowntail, one he sent me and phone deleted, or one that he listed on aquabid if it doesn't sell:

His rays are spaced pretty evenly and his fins look good, obviously he's a little young so they will grow longer. His body is maybe a little short but not bad. If you get him be sure to flare him often to try to increase his caudal spread... I think he's pretty nice! Is he the one you're going to be breeding though, I was under the impression you were going to get an HM male? o.o
