what can jewels live with?

what about a school of danios? Theyre really fast, and i dont think the jewels would be able to get them.

You must be annoyed at me by now :p Jewels (especially juveniles) can be fast when they want, I've fed mine guppies, and they caught them with no prob. They might not catch the danios immediately, but they'll be picked off. I'll try to think of some fish to put with a breeding pair :)

lol, not annoyed at all. ive decided to move them into the other tank because there really seem like no cichlids that would fit in my tank. They all seem to get really big. and there is a cave sytem in there that is taken over by one of them, Sampson, hes bitten alot of tails. So im fguring if i get some more pots, and alot of plants to have hiding places, they will be fine.

The only fish you could keep them with would probably be plecs, and as for adding more hiding places, that should lower the aggression a bit :)

i hope, only two dont have missing parts on their fins.

i never wanted jewels, lol. theyre to mean!

get some buttikoferi. they are riverine and tough enough to handle a jewel. buttikoferi are beautiful looking fish ime. make a nice contrast with their coloring and the jewels
