What Can I Stock In A 180Lt Tank

Coral beauty!! My favourite or a flame angel if money is no object!!!

How about a dogfaced pufferfish!! (only joking!!! Haha. My favourite fish! Needs a bigger tank though! :(

Fishy your actually gonna love me I might get a pair of bangaii cardinals :look:

Love flame angels! And coral beautys! I might just get both! :D I would say flame is better!

And no to the bangaiis! they suck haha! :D

I love the flame but there £90 and thats going to be almost the same price of my tank.

The light unit that I want is 90cm but my tank is 92 will it still fit.

Im going to trawl the internet tonight and try to come up with some kind of a stocking list.

When you go to TP let me know as (if my missus isn't in labour) I may pop out and try and con rich into putting the kettle on :)

As with all LFS go in armed with research, ask questions you know the answers to and look up answers to the questions you don't, TP is one of the best places I've had the joy to shop on BUT they are still a business and they are their to make money not make your life easy :)
TBH Richard (the owner) hasn't ever sent me off wrong but knowledge is power :)

What kind of frags do they have. I hope they have lots of zoa's

Im not sure when we will get there as were just going to drive around for a bit but I will try and go on the forum and say that we are there.

They had some zoa's last time I popped in but what they did have fish wise was some chalk basslet, they would look great in a shoal.

He also had a new shipment of hard corals this week and there is some well nice bits, few sun corals aswell :ninja:

Btw they have a section on UR that often has stock pics, if you ask chels or Tom they will often tell you (roughly) what's in stock :)

Ooo might just have a look at the suns.

How a bout a small shoal of chalk bassets in my new tank

That would be cool :)
He may even have a black sun or two left :ninja:

Actually maybe that's not such a wise idea yet lol

No there to difficult for me im still a armature but are the yellow ones ok for me to keep.

As long as you are dedicated to it's feeding and parameter needs then yes you should be ok with a yellow sun, they are much more forgiving then blacks.

If you decide to go for one then pick a nice plump one that isn't to big (more heads = more feeding) but not to small (to small can starve before you learn it's needs)

If you are interested in basic NPS then give a sun or a chilli a go, I just realised that tommorow is my partners baby shower (oh joy) so I won't be around but if your at TP another time I can arrange to swing over and have a chat about their care.

BTW basic azoox will live perfectly well in a mixed reef, it's the more advanced ones that are the trouble :)

Good luck tommorow and if you decide on a sun don't hesitate to ask me anything about them, btw have you checked out the sun coral care page? Should be in lewiss sticky.

Ok ill have to think about feeding them but I might wait until my new tank is set up and I have more water so that any excess food is less of a risk to make my parameters unstable.

If its a good shop then I will defiantly go back and tell you when im going :good:

Theres also a flame hawkfish they have a nice personality.

Trust me you will want to go back :)

Tbh the parameter thing isn't to much of an issue as long as you keep to your WC's but time is on your side :)

Just on the ferry to get the tank
