I need lots of suggestions please guys, I picked up my new tank this morning, its very pretty & bigger than I thought it would be, its all scrubbed & filled & gorgeous now. But I have no idea what I want to put in it!
Whilst it cycles i'd like to decide on my fish so that I can landscape it appropriately
I feel I am so spoilt for choice, every fish I see, I want, everytime I see someones gorgeous piccies I want one of theirs.
I was wondering if people fancy listing their top10 fish for me, so I can look at them all, then possibly sort myself a shortlist.
i'm off to Maidenhead Aq in Peterborough tomorrow for a big window shopping session & it would help if I could get my first draft list together. My water is hard & ph is 7.8, so any pointers for fish happy in those conditions much appreciated.
in my top 10 at the moment would be:
1: Dwarf Puffers cause they are so darned cute & dont need a huge tank.
2: Corydora Catfish, very sweet fish
3: Fancy tailed male guppies
4: South American Puffers
5: Angel Fish- know little about, but they are stunning
6: Dwarf Snakehead, I love these so much, but I dont think the lid on my new tank is escape proof enough
7: Betta, love them, the males are stunning & I plan to have one in his own tank soon & maybe breed once I am clued up.
