well, i gave it another shot guys, these aren't much better than the first ones, but maybe they will help?
Hopefully this wil help!! But if not, I can always try for some more!!
They are still C. venezuelanus. 8)

um, why is that the moral again? because most cories share the same sorts of needs... maybe if you were keeping them at extreme temperatures or pH values, this would be true but in this case that moral seems a little extreme.
 
Well, Im not mad that I don't know what they are, nor do I think Im a bad fish owner. I was just curious. I think a lot of corys are mis-labeled. Especially in big box LFS's.
Im going to agree with coryologist though.... well at least I think!! :fun:
 
Here's mine...LFS said they were Green Corys also,
but everyone else seems to think they are Bronze Corys.

They change color with different gravel colors.
In the below picture they were on Orange gravel.

Here they are with Natural gravel sand, they look more brown/bronze.

"Bronze" Corys are the traditional trade name for true C. aeneus, which is what I would "guess" these fish to be, without a close-up piccy. Usually, (but not always) when the trade name "Green" or "Emerald" Cory is used, they are referring to Brochis splendens. - Frank
