Ooo look like aliens to me :) so thats probably what they are, aliens...

...On a more serious note, maybe (cant spell these fellas), palanaria worms? Caused by higher levels of ammonia in the water :) quite common in newer set ups. Cant be sure of course, they do just look like little alien tadpoles.

*Edit*

Just noticed you have a common and gibbi in an 88l?! Guessing either 1) Your planning on moving them somwhere larger soon or 2) Your not aware yet that those guys grow up to and over 1' long :)

+ As stated below, could be fry, very possibly danio fry which survived there parents.

They do look like aliens !

Isn't planaria really tiny though ? Too small to photograph ?

Yup, its just hard to get a scale from the photo, i was going by the air bubbles on the side which make them look teeny. O and thanks for correcting my poor spelling :p

i have four zebra danios and two of them did get fat the other day and now they are not. all my water levels are good. the tiny things are about 3mm in length maybe abit smaller.

on the plec side i am look for a new home for them and i plan to get some plecs that dont get so big.
