What Are They Doing?

one of my corydoras has been hanging upsidedown everyday for a week and the other one is resting, and does nothing but swimming all . What are they doing?

What are your tank stats like? Do you have enough aeration in their tank? How big is their tank and what are their tankmates?

If it does, you have an Upside Down Catfish and this is normal.

perfect/yes/30gal/guppies,platies,and 1 shrimp whydo you ask??

it's albino and it hangs upsidedown on a plant, then run around the tank non-stop, then stop for three seconds then go. is it about to lay eggs

I don't know any Cories that hang upside down on plants--well when laying eggs a Mama Cory may shimmy around some plants to lay the eggs and then freeze in mid water in reverie.

But I agree with K.J., you most likely have some species of sucker Cat. Do you have a picture?

haha long time to get back. Is the fish still upside down? I think you need to look at pics and ID your fish species if she is. If one is big and wide and the other slim and svelt and the slim one chases or swims with the fat one, then they are spawning.

Is either of them the same cory you wrote about a few months ago?
