What are these fish called and how to take good care of them

I bought these little fish for my daughter can anyone tell me what are they called and how to take care of them from food to cleaning the tank and is this little tank good or should I change it

Bigger tank! ASAP
Change water daily, 80%, conditioned.
Feed very sparingly until you get a new tank, vacuum uneaten food and poop with a turkey baster daily.
Do you have a filter?, airstone and pump?, anything to at least circulate the water to oxygenate?

Also, you will need a water test kit, API Freshwater Master kit is good.
Find your water hardness online from your water provider and post values for GH and KH along with units.

Judging by the photos, you have one male and two females. These fish are called livebearers; the females keep the eggs inside their bodies until they are ready to hatch. They give birth to fry roughly every 4 weeks - lots of fry. You need a big tank for all those fish!

Probably because they're in a tiny critter keeper and without a bigger tank and a filter very soon, the fish will likely be dead within a few days, floating plants or not.

As will water changes. It's a tiny tank, scoop the water out, add a few drops of conditioner to water jugs, wait 20 min and pour it in.

Getting an air pump and a sponge filter would also help.

Yah... At least a 10g for now. But probably a 15-20 would be better

You should also test your water for gh kh and ph. The fish might not be ideal for your parameters.
