 Okay, to make a long story short, there are about 20 large (half the size of a pea) eggs nestled in some javamoss. The only fish that could do this sort of thing are my dojo loaches or cory cats.... But I totally thought corydoras eggs were smaller, and my tank is at about 77*, which should be too warm for weather loach spawning.

The eggs are whitish/milky/clear, and a loach is hanging out next to them. They were not here this morning!! I did a water change yesterday, and everything has tested normally. This isn't a parasite, is it??

If they are eggs from the cory or from the loach, what should I do with them??

When my cories laied their eggs they were sticking to glass. If the loach is near them I would think that is the mother. I have never kept loaches before, so I really dont know any thing about them.

Hi silvan :)

Except for the size, they could well be cory eggs. My corys like to spawn on the glass, but will sometimes lay their eggs on a plant, as well. Often, a good water change will cause them to spawn, especially if the fresh water is a few degrees cooler than the tank water.

What kind of corys do you have? Are they mature?

Unless you have recently added plants, I don't think you have to worry about them being parasites.

It sounds to me like your loach is thinking about having a tasty snack!

That very well could be I know I had to remove everything out of my tank when my cories spawned. That is a good one Inch Worm LOL
