Fish Fanatic
I currently have 2 german blue ram cichlids in my 145 liter blackwater biotope setup but I have had issues with the two of them a male and a female being slightly territorial and somewhat agressive to each other when one of them get's too close or when it's feeding time when they tend to fight.
I have been researching about the native enviroments of these fish where organic materials tends to fall down such as brazil nuts and fruits such as the guava fruit that is native to Brazil.
This is why It would obviously be a good idea to provide some more hiding spaces besides the plants, rocks , and driftwood.
The only problem is that I am unsure which commonly available species of nuts are native to the region of the amazon river except for the brazil nut.
What do you suggest?
