I'm thinkin of putting some little fishes in my soon to be 10gallon tank. How aquarium fish around (or under) 1.5" are out there???

A few I can think of are Dwarf Puffers, White Clouds(I think), and I think white skirts but I'm not sure. Cant really think of any more. I'm sure someone can though.

neon teras (some may say this gets bigger than 1.5" but in 10g should be fine), cardinal tetras (comment same as neon), harlequin rasbora (perhaps same again), dwarf puffers, various killifish, galaxy rasbora, dwarf danio, glowlight danio, mini rasbora, dwarf rasbora, lambchop rasbora, brigette's rasbora, corydoras habrosus, corydoras hastatus, bumblebee goby (brackish), endlers, ermm, loads more but cant think for now :S

Word of warning: not all small fish can be kept in small tanks. For example, you could keep some oto's in a 10gal tank, but a load of zebra danio's or WCMM's on the other hand would be too active for a 10gal.

wow, i'm thinkin about some of the rasboras to add to the 10 gallon. but i think 0.08" is a little small for the mini rasbora.

Java Rice Fish - stay at the top of the tank
I've also got Dwarf Golden Barbs which are about an inch.

Cherry barbs (probably some other types of barbs too)
Honey gold gouramis
most tetras (neon, serpae, black neon, etc)
harelquin rasoberas (sp?)
otos
endlers livebearers
guppies (depends on whether you count finnage in the 1.5" rule)

Really? I was thinking of getting them for my 10g because they are small... Now I"ll have to rethink it........... AGAIN! :shout:
