What Animal Am I Thinking About

the other day, i saw an AMAZING thing in a fish shop...
it was with sucking loaches (but thats probably irrelevant)

the question is...

what was it?

Description:
about 15cm long
looked like a alligator/newt
had fins/flippers... not legs.
the same brown as an alligator/crocodile...
had a slightly 'snout' type face/mouth


thats kinda it...
im in England if that helps...




any help would be appreciated, as they sold out... and i dont know what to pre-order
please post pictures with your thoughts
