Living in Holland, using brandless pellets / granules from a guy / webshop at the Dutch forum. Indeed turn up the meaty part for Corys!!

I have increased the meaty part of there diet and I now feed them meat in the morning and a catfish pellet between them in the evening. I am looking into different types of sinking and shrimp pellet and want to know who uses them and what brand is the best from Tom

My corydoras s love King British catfish pellets and AquaOne Vege wafers, they seem to beat the mid-water and top level feeders eating them all, plus if you're cunning you can put the other species food in one side of the tank that distracts them while you drop the pellets/wafers in the other side :)

I would thoroughly recommend the New Era catfish pellets.

A bit pricey, but all fish seem to love them.

I will defiantly take a look into those pellets and the good thing is that all 10 of the Cory's are out and about now and they are all eating very well. I think the thing that made the difference was taking the five banded barbs out as they were very fast moving which I think put the Cory's off from coming out and also as they were so fast they were beating the Cory's to the food. I did want to ask are there any plants that the Cory's really like or are they not to fussed about plants as they keep swimming up and down my plants from Tom

No, they don't mind what plants you have :)

That's good then are there any plants that they would find naturally in there environment and if so which ones would they be and how easy are they to care for from Tom

No, there are very few plants in their natural habitat;

(incidentally, that vid also demonstrates why recommending four or five, or even six fish for shoaling species is, quite frankly, laughable; we should be aiming to keep as large a group as possible with these sort of fish! and I'm not having a dig; I'm the same with my fish, I have only five adolfoi cories

After seeing the video I'm glad I have mine in a group of 10 as it is more natural for them and I'm glad I decided to go sand bottom and then add some chunks of rock here and there as it make it as natural as possible for them. What do Adolfoi Cory's look like and what Cory's are in the video from Tom

Still is a marvelous vid. Corys all kind of habitats btw. Plants can help keeping nitrates down in tank-circumstances, so I'd always put in some plants for that reason !

I have quite a few plants in my tank I just wanted to know if there were any they really liked or you would find in there natual habitat from Tom

Thank you for that information it was really helpful and the good news is my tank is perfectly suited to them because that's what they need
