Being new to all this, I'm struggling to identify the following fish, any help is much appreciated!

1 - Not sure about this one at all:

2 - I think this is a guppy of some description? Although it looks quite large?

3 - I think this little fellow is a ram?

4 - I'm assuming a neon tetra?

5 - Not sure what this one is at all....

Hi Katch, thanks for your help!

1. Yep, it's eyes are blue - and Lampeye rings a bell - thanks!
2. - Thanks - I'll wait to see if anyone else can clarify this too.
3. Here's another photo if it helps:

4. - Thanks!
5. - Thanks!

I forgot to apologise for the quality of the photos.

My first guess on that cichlid would be a ram, purely by looking at the dorsal an the line across its eye,
Last one is a corydoras trilineatus
Youve got a very unfortunate neon there too!

The second looks like a female guppy to me

That neon is slightly deformed isn't it? Id say it is a Mikrogeophagus ramirezi (common name german blueram) just lacking in colour.

Thanks for clarifying the Cory and Guppy!

I've got two of the Neons that are like that - they've come from a friend of a friend who split up wither their partner and was left with the tank knowing very little about it.

That does look a bit like a German Blue Ram lacking full coloring...the sparkling on the fins makes me think GBR.

yep, it's a poor specimen farm bred GBR.
