NOTE: I will get up some pics as soon as camera is charged.

For some reason, my dwarf gourami has started making a bubblenest in the corner of my tank. Im not sure as to why because i thought i had 2 males. Anyway, what i think is so special is that he makes it using plant matter aswell, so he has cleaned up my entire tank of debris and has stuck it all together in the corner of the tank.

Can anyone tell me why he has made one?

This is just my opinion but it could be down to the fact, he doesn't know that females cant get into his tank. This would trigger him, once sexually mature, to try and attract females with his nest. Unless of course, the simple answer is, the other one is a female. I used to have a Betta in on his own who would do it. I would presume that like Bower Birds, the better the nest, the more likely it is that a female is interested, so once triggered they go about trying to attract mates by building them.
