So what does everyone do for work to earn money to support their fish addiction?

I work in marketing for a major tech company. It pays well enough to support an incurable case of MTS and I get to work from home and stare at fishies all day.

I'm a student but currently taking a year off due to covid childcare hijinks and back to my old career as a programmer. Why I am going to school to earn less money than I currently do will never make sense to me either....

I'm a high schooler but I do a lot of babysitting (when COVID isn't existent), and tutor kids with intellectual disabilities via zoom.

Teaching music finances my life. Most of my hobbies are financed by caring for a very large aquarium at a very well-funded local business, and selling the occasional CD.

My fish paid for themselves, same as my birds.

Breed them and sell them, use the money to reinvest in the hobby and build it up slowly. No out of pocket expenses after it is set up right and you get to pay the power and water bills too.

My fish hobby has always supported itself. You need to build your own tanks, love the people at the LFS and trade online.
