I don't really trust that many LFS employees. There are only three that I'll deal with at my LFS, the rest really don't know what they're talking about. Just do your own research, and trust that.

You really need to know who to trust. There are really good employees in the next nearest LFS, I got a betta today, he pointed it out from a tank at the top I didn't see I was going to get a different one, but I like mine better, he doesn't seem as daft... the one I was going to get was flaring at the plant....

lol i like that -----> flaring at the plant.... one of my bettas does that, too! he is soooo silly. he's in a divided tank that houses him & a crowntail. the crowntail goes along and does his own thing, rarely flaring at the veiltail. but the veil tail . . . he flares at anything and everything, including plants!

We HAD a Brett Favre bobblehead next to Harvey's tank for a while.
The flaring just got to be too much.
Brett has since been moved.
