Went away for the weekend.

I went away for the weekend to a relatives house who I knew had several fishtanks running. Last time I was there they were in good condition.

This time was a different story. The long tank with the pleco the woman was bragging about never having cleaned the tank and never having touched the filter in her words "why mess with whats working" the other tanks speak for themselves.

first two are the ones she's never touched. She's now even said she doesn't want to add water.

Can you find the goldfish in this picture(there are at least 2)

I won't comment on if it's abuse or not but they aren't attractive and will only get less and less attention as time goes on. Her temperature reading will only be showing the temp of the air in her house, it's inches above the water line.?.

If not abuse the poor conditions. The goldfish one drove me nuts all weekend thinking about all that algae in there.

That is really small for the turtle.

And the goldfish tank is discusting!!!

there are 2 turtles in there. 1 about 8 inches long 1 about 4 inches long.

TWO TURTLES?!?!?! What the hell....That tank isn't even big enough for the little one!!!!!! OMG I am steamed. MY god a single red ear turtle needs at least 75 gallons full grown.

That picture makes me want to go hug Webster,my red ear turtle.

Ok I think these tanks are as bad as the local pet stores, I'm sorry but I would have had to take it upon myself to clean those tanks and ad some water at least while I was there. I clean my nieces betta tank everytime I go over my sisters house because my niece is to young and my sister says well when it dies i won't have to mess with it anymore. My niece is 4 and she feeds him everyday but she cant clean the tank so once a week I do, so sometimes you have to step in to stop cruelty.

STOTM Nomination!! Only j/k!!! That is really bad, fish tanks are meant to be nice to look at aswell as trying to keep fish in there natural enviroment!!

I don't think they'd survive the trip from there to where I live. it's many hours in the car.
