This sure looks like a baby feeder guppy… this is in my Hillstream tank… I do have a couple 10 gallons in a stack under this tank, with some feeder grade guppies in the bottom one, well beyond jumping distance, and I have a fleet of nets, that I try to dedicate to each tank, and I’m the only one who works on the tanks…. And I’ve not added any new fish ( knowingly ) to this tank, in several months… I have no idea how this little guy got in here… almost hard to believe the adult Tin Foils don’t scoop it up, it’s definitely smaller that my littlest Hillstream… saw it at 1st light this morning, and thought someone had a baby… had to get up from my caffeine, and get a closer look… disappointing, and a mystery…

I will leave it there, until next week, or the week after, when I move the Tin Foils…even though the Tin Foils, have been great with the 1-1.5 inch Hillstream’s, the guppy is half that size, so I expect the Tins, or the medium size Kisser Grourmi will snatch it up by then…

The guppy is still swimming around the top of that pagoda, like it owns it… even though the Tin Foil barbs, are 8-10 inches long, they are still very good at leaving the small fish alone… I was worried when I added 5 Panda Garas to the tank, back when the Tin Foils were like 6 inches… the Pandas came in tiny, around a 1/2 inch, and they would go out to the middle of the tank, and compete with the Tin Foils, for food, at feeding time, and today I still have 5 Pandas, at adult size…

Illegal immigration comes to the fish tank!

Still there... several days later... the Tin Foils will likely move in a day or two... likely I'll move the guppy too... but I will spare it for now, as the most practical place would be to drop it in the Bichir tank, but this one will go back into the guppy tank... for providing the curiosity...

This is fascinating! I have issues losing fish (found a sword dried up under my tank stand once and my wife found a dried up hatchet fish under my big tank stand after I had bragged about how mine don't jump), but I've never had them appear from nowhere LOL.

Do you put feeders in that tank? I'm guessing not, since nobody seems to be hungry for this one LOL.
